Trion Worlds have just announced in the Rift’s website about Rift Lite. This will let new and returning players to experience the game from Level 1-20. With Rift Lite, the limit for the free access was also removed so you can enjoy the game as long as you want but with some restrictions to travel and gameplay. This will help you decide whether you are ready to commit subscription a subscription for full experience of the game.

Last Chaos Korea shutting down

Barunson Games’ Last Chaos is scheduled to shut down on February 16, 2012. Last Chaos is a free to play fantasy MMORPG. Though, there’s no signs of such action in the NA version from Aeria Games.

TERA is for NA & EU only?

“En Masse will block IPs based on region. Asia, Africa, Russia, and the Middle East are included on the block list.” according to En Masse’s support page. It simply means that even English-speaking players from the South East Asian region will be blocked. I am actually looking forward to try on this game this summer but this article is disappointing.

Will En Masse IP block based on region?
To keep the quality of service high for players within North America we have decided to disable IP addresses from which fraudulent traffic originates. We encourage players in these regions to participate on servers specifically designated for their area.

We block IP addresses used by hackers
En Masse will block IPs based on region. Asia, Africa, Russia, and the Middle East are included on the block list. While we appreciate that there are players in these regions who would enjoy playing on En Masse servers, it’s unfortunate that the vast majority of Internet traffic we see from these regions are from cyber-criminals relating to account theft, gold-farming and other hacking behavior.

What about proxies?
Services that promise to improve your ping and decrease lag may sound promising, but they are frequently used by hackers and criminals who want to remain anonymous. Although we do not block them by default, a proxy or server host will be blocked if it becomes a popular tool for criminal behavior.

Playing TERA outside of North America
If you want to play TERA with friends in another country, here’s what you need to know:
You can play TERA on En Masse servers from North America, South America, Europe and Oceania.
En Masse has a license to operate TERA game servers in North America. This means that if you are in North America, South America, Europe (excluding Russia), and Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, Micronesia, Melanesia, and Polynesia) you can play on En Masse Servers.

Firefall’s very first Live Beta Stream

Last Saturday, January 28th, Matt and Justin gave us the very first Live Beta Stream for the much anticipated open world FPS game, Firefall. The game is currently on its Beta Phase now wherein only selected people are able to play and it is under NDA so you won’t see much of the gameplay videos. If you are one of those who missed the Live Stream you can watch the recorded stream with all credits to Red 5 Studios.

Psychic X Online The Battle of Card Masters was developed byt JCE Entertainment. They have started their beta testing early this year and recently they already announced that the final closed beta test for Psychic X Online will start on February 10th, 2012. The upcoming test will approximately last for ten days straight, which should be more than enough to get your psychic action going on. Psychic X is a fast paced TPS game that features a unique card system with crazy characters. The fast paced TPS features a lot of unique playable characters wielding all kinds of weapons. Ranging from samurai katanas, heart power attacks, mechas, dual pistols, and all that good stuff. They also added a new female character, new maps, pve mode, and better character animations.

Jin, Fighters’ Club New Character

Fighters Club was developed by studio KOG and is part of the Hangame EX 2011 lineup. The game focuses on 3 major section of the character body, the top, middle and lower parts when a fight is taking place. Before the week ends, KOG Studios and NHN Hangame Korea released a new character for Fighters Club named Jin. This new character looks pretty bad ass with his katana. You will also enjoy more playing this new character as they have an event going on. Every time you achieve an even level for this character you’ll get a bunch of free cash shop items like skill reset, upgrading items, and etc. If you successfully get level 30 with Jin by the time the event ends, you’ll be given a new character slot.

New Gears for TERA Online

Hangame Korea and BlueHole released some screenshots featuring some of the upcoming equipable accessories and armor that will be implemented in the next patch for Tera Online. Though there is no official word about these unexplored areas in the screenshot whether it will be available in the coming patch or not.

Eclipse of Eden CBT

On the 3rd week of January 2012, the Closed Beta sign ups for the upcoming MMORPG – Eclipse of Eden has been opened up. The game was developed by Eden Entertainment and will be published by BIGLOBE. The game has four playable classes which are Fighter, Scout, Magician, and Warrior. The latest official trailer below showcases some of the cool looking skills and finishing moves you can execute on monsters.

Phantasy Star Online 2 Alpha

Bloody Hunter Open Beta

Netmarble CJ E&M Games Korea already announced that the Open Beta Test for Bloody Hunter Online will begin on February 9, 2012. Bloody Hunter is a 3D side scrolling MORPG that offers a PvP ranking system so you’ll be able to rank up and face opponents on your skill level. Bloody Hunter has three playable starting classes, the Sword Man, Ranger & Fighter that can advance to their second job in the later levels.
